DMC 2025 Shanghai International Mold Technology and Equipment Exhibition

The Shanghai International Mould Technology and Equipment Exhibition (DMC), also known as the Shanghai Mould Show, is Asia's largest and the world's second-largest event in the mould industry. With the theme "Digital Integration, Integrated Collaboration," the strategic layout has been comprehensively upgraded to cover the entire country, aiming to lead the optimization and upgrading of mould manufacturing and achieve leapfrog development.
The DMC serves the mould industry for automotive and consumer electronics, featuring not only precision manufacturing equipment like machining centers and EDM machines but also surface texture equipment that continues to grow rapidly. There is an emphasis on improving mould quality and automation upgrades, with metrology systems experiencing a concentrated procurement period. Additionally, there is increasing demand for 3D printing technology, additive manufacturing equipment, and laser devices due to the market requirement for design participation in mould design.
China's consumption has surpassed investment as the primary driver of economic growth, propelling the development of the country's equipment manufacturing sector. This market-driven enhancement is reflected in core component manufacturers' integration into the supply chain. Mould companies are expanding beyond mould trial production to include mould parts, resulting in large-scale orders for mould forming equipment.
The DMC will continue to focus on developing products towards larger, more precise, high-performance, integrated, and special processing units.
