The Qingdao Rubber Technology Exhibition (RTF) is the largest and most influential brand rubber exhibition in Shandong Province, hosted by the Shandong Rubber Industry Association and Qingdao University of Science and Technology. Since its inception in 2004, the RTF exhibition has achieved good results and extensive influence, becoming an international exchange platform for the Chinese rubber industry to expand markets and enhance corporate visibility. The last edition of the Qingdao Rubber Technology Exhibition (RTF) covered an exhibition area of 42,600 square meters, with 491 exhibitors and an attendance of 33,157 people. The Qingdao International Tire and Rim Exhibition (CTF) was held concurrently.
The RTF exhibition promotes technological progress and sustainable development of the tape, hose, and related industries under the new economic development model, enriching the scope and content of the exhibition. It fully reflects the unique value of the forum, new products, new technologies, and new opportunities. With Qingdao as the leader, the rubber industry in the Shandong Peninsula accounts for half of the national rubber industry, with tire production representing 52% of the national total and tire exports accounting for 50% of the national export volume. The top ten tire brands also hold a dominant position in the country. Qingdao Port has the second-largest foreign trade throughput in China. Known as the "West Point of China's Rubber Industry," Qingdao University of Science and Technology, along with multiple rubber research institutes, rubber machinery enterprises, specialized software companies, and logistics companies, has formed a comprehensive rubber industry chain integrating teaching, research, production, and trade. It has become a well-known tire trading center and rubber industry cluster both domestically and internationally. The market environment and industry status are beyond doubt.
