The Shenzhen International Water Technology Exhibition (IWTE) is jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincial Hydraulic Society, the Guangdong Provincial Hydropower Technology Center, and the Shenzhen Hydraulic Society. Shenzhen is committed to building world-class systems for water resource conservation, drinking water safety, smart water services, and water economy. It aims to achieve world-leading levels of water public services and fully support the construction of a globally benchmarked city with strong competitiveness, innovation, and influence.
The Shenzhen International Water Technology Exhibition (IWTE) comprehensively showcases the latest technological products and equipment in China's water industry. It promotes the deep integration of new technologies and products such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence, 5G, and edge computing with water business operations. It also practices new ideas for water management and the general tone of water development and reform in the new era. The exhibition aims to provide technological and equipment support for the "14th Five-Year Plan" water conservancy construction in the Greater Bay Area. Leveraging the high-end platform and influence of the expo, it showcases corporate strength, enhances brand image, deepens cooperation and exchanges, expands market share, and creates a well-known water industry event that integrates a "display platform + publicity platform + trading platform."
Shenzhen is one of the core cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and serves as a national logistics hub, an international comprehensive transportation hub, and an international center for technological innovation. Shenzhen is currently committed to building a pilot demonstration area for socialism with Chinese characteristics and a comprehensive national science center. It is also implementing ambitious goals such as the "14th Five-Year Plan for Water Resources Reform and Development in Guangdong Province," the "Water Security Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area," and the "14th Five-Year Plan for Water Development in Shenzhen."
